First Line Support

First line support is normally provided to schools by the Local Authorities Finance Support Services Team. This is delivered through their normal support services channels.
The support provided by the FSS team may include:
• Telephone enquiries
• User error
• Training requirements
• System enhancement requests

SchoolsBPS Support
|
|
SchoolsBPS support services are offered directly to the Local Authorities Finance Support Services Team.
This is second line support which includes:
- System development and enhancements
- Bug fixes
- Software failures
- Hosting support
- Speed tracking and formalised ‘end to end’ monitoring
- Database Support for ‘Live’ and ‘Training’ environments

Support calls are logged through an online tracking software with the additional access to the dedicated BPS Software Support Team by phone 9:00am-5:00pm Monday – Friday.
